Our annual contest is a fantastic showcase of these diverse and spectacular costumes, serving as a living testament to Germany's vibrant cultural tapestry.

OUR CONTEST GUIDELINES

Competition Structure: The competition will be divided into categories by age and groups. Each participant or group will strut their stuff on stage, with a panel of judges evaluating each entry.

Presentation: Each entrant will have the opportunity to display their costume on stage. Creativity in presentation is encouraged - whether it's a dance, a brief historical explanation of the costume, or simply striking a pose.

Judging: Judges will score based on authenticity, attention to detail, creativity, presentation, and audience response.

Costume: Costumes should represent traditional German attire from any historical period or region. The use of authentic materials and accessories is strongly encouraged.

The Prize: Aside from the fun and honor of participating, winners from each category will receive a grand prize. Prizes include cash awards, German cultural artifacts / gifts, and the coveted title of "Krush Brau's German Costume Champion 2023."

Registration

Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals of all ages and groups, eager to showcase their best interpretation of traditional German costumes.

Registration Deadline: Day of Event. Participants must register. Spaces are limited and will be allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
