Krush Brau Yodeling Contest

Join us for a celebration of culture, fun, and an exhilarating showcase of vocal acrobatics at the Krush Brau Yodeling Contest !


Yodeling, an art form rooted deep in the heart of the German Alps, holds a mesmerizing charm that has captivated the world for centuries. This event brings together the most talented yodelers, each with unique styles and techniques. From soul-stirring lows to spine-tingling highs, you'll experience the heart of German tradition, echoing in every entrancing yodel.


Whether you're an enthusiast or just curious about this unique form of music, the Krush Brau Yodeling Contest 2023 promises a day of joy, camaraderie, and an unforgettable cultural experience. So come, yodel with us, and be a part of this echoing celebration of German tradition!

Our Contest Rules

Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals of all ages. Prior experience in yodeling is preferred but not required.


Competition Structure: The competition will consist of three rounds - Preliminaries, Semifinals, and Finals. Each contestant will have a chance to perform in the Preliminaries, and the top scorers will proceed to the Semifinals, with the highest scorers advancing to the Finals.


Performance: Each contestant will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to perform their yodeling piece. Original compositions are encouraged.


Judging: The panel will comprise well-respected figures from the world of German music and culture. Contestants will be evaluated based on vocal technique, musicality, creativity, and audience appeal.


Attire: Participants are encouraged to wear traditional Bavarian attire to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of yodeling.


The Prize: In addition to the sheer exhilaration and the honor of participating, the champion will be awarded a cash prize, a beautifully crafted trophy symbolizing the cultural importance of yodeling, and the title of "Krush Brau's Yodeling Maestro 2023."

Registration

Registration: Participants must register by July 15th, 2023. Registrations will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
